General Questions


How many tables do you have on site?

  • We have (20) rectangular 8ft. farmhouse tables and (2) 4ft. round farmhouse tables.
  • Additional rental tables are available onsite (6) 5ft round tables & (7) 8ft rectangular tables.
  • Farm tables will seat up to 10 people depending on setup.


How many chairs do you have on site?

  • We have 400 chairs available on the property included in your venue rental.


What is the dining room dimensions?

  • The main portion of the venue excluding the suites and kitchen is roughly 40ft.  x  80ft.


How many people can the venue accommodate?

  • The max capacity of the venue is 250 people.


Cost difference for a small wedding?

  • The White Dove Barn has set pricing based on a daily rental.  Smaller sized weddings, reception only or ceremony only weddings are all subject to the same reservation cost.


How many cars will the parking lot accommodate?

  • We can accommodate approximately 150 cars in our parking lot.  We do have additional parking available onsite.


Do we have to use your preferred vendors?

  • Wedding Coordinators & Bartenders MUST be reserved through The White Dove Barn team.
  • Caterers, florists, DJ's, photographers and videographers can all be your choice. 
  • Caterers MUST be licensed by the TN Health Department and insured.


What time will I have access to the venue?

  • The White Dove Barn allows access at 10 am on your event day.


When is my rehearsal?

  • Friday rehearsals are subject to availability.  If the venue is booked the day prior to your event, Tuesday-Thursday practice rehearsals are an option, subject to availability or the morning of your event.
  • Rehearsals are confirmed 8 weeks prior to your event.


What is Event Insurance?

Below you will find a list of what it covers and how to obtain it.

  • Most lawsuits from your guests
  • Bodily injury for your guests
  • Property damage to your event location.
  • Host Liquor Liability

Is there a Month/Day of Coordinator?

  • Yes, we actually have several exclusive coordinators for the barn.  
  • Month/Day of Coordinators are available to those who choose the all-inclusive wedding package.
  • Those of you who have reserved the venue only option, can reserve planning services for Month/Day of Coordination as well.  Call for pricing.


Do you offer Full Wedding Planning services?

  • Yes, we have several planners who are available for more thorough planning throughout the duration of the engagement leading up to your event.  Call for pricing.


What is the back up rain plan?

  • The White Dove Barn can host an indoor ceremony for up to 250 people.  After the ceremony we transition the barn into a reception space for your guests.
  • The barn has an 80 ft long covered patio that will provide coverage until the reception conversion is complete.


 

How to obtain my marriage license? 

 

Is there an arbor on site?

  • Yes, we actually have 5!! These are complimentary and come included with your venue rental!
  • We have many photos of these visible on our Facebook page.


Can we bring our own alcohol?

  • Yes, alcohol is allowed at our venue.
  • Please request a copy of our contract for a full list of guidelines.

  • The venue rental includes up to 400 chairs.
